Description
Here is an interesting story about a flamingo. Pink Floyd was a famous Chilean flamingo that hung out on the Great Salt Lake of Utah. In 1988 he escaped from the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City. He ended up being a local legend in the greater Salt Lake area. Pink Floyd would hang out in the winters to eat the brine shrimp that lives in the Great Salt Lake and in the spring time he would hang out in either Idaho or Montana. Last time he was seen was the spring of 2005.
Digital artwork, textures and painterly effect applied to my original photography to artistically enhance the image.

Lana: What a fantastic close-up of this beautiful "Pink Floyd". We love the title - brings back many memories to start but is also very fitting for this image. The colors, details/clarity and background are all "world-class" photography work. LOOK at that eye. WOW !! Marvelous work here. (L/F) "Art Soothes The Soul" Bill & Deb Hayes
